A community’s transport system and network is its life blood providing the means of moving its people, goods, freight and commodities. Our aspiration is to help clients create holistic transport solutions and reliable multi modal infrastructure systems which reduce the cost of living, support inter community and social mobility, bolster economic diversification and ensure effective whole of life resource development for communities. We will achieve this through our ability to uniquely combine complex inputs (engineering, behavioural science, big data) to create innovative and adaptable solutions.
Cherishing water so that our people, communities and environment continue to flourish. Water is the world’s most precious resource. The world’s water is coming under increasing pressure due to rapid urbanisation, food production challenges, aging infrastructure and climate change. WSP Opus’ specialists facilitate management of the entire water lifecycle from source to tap and return to the environment. We provide services for water and wastewater conveyance and treatment, water resources and flood risk management, water for agriculture, water asset management and for hydropower generation.
Sustainability & Climate change
We are the first global practice to develop such a program. Including future trends in our advice to clients helps them plan for the long term and makes good business sense. This is one of the ways in which we create value for them.
Environment is all encompassing. It includes all our infrastructure, from transport, to water, to economy, to buildings, to nature and heritage. Our environment has a great level of influence on our quality of life and thus ability to understand our environment and how it might be damaged or enhanced, and to plan and design accordingly are extremely important. Our aspiration is to combine our diverse capabilities to help our clients consider complex aspects of the environment, including where these compete, and how best to plan and provide for the well-being our communities and of our natural environment.
